Recovery

Some people think that training is the be all and end all of everything but your nutrition is very important as is recovery. Never train a body part within a 72hr period, try to avoid stress and get as much rest

And sleep as you can. After you train it is common knowledge that it is best to take a protein drink within 30 minutes of training but not many use a recovery fuel. This product is usually on a 2:1 ratio of carbs and protein. I started using one from Kinetica and the reason i chose this product is the ratio is spot on plus it has both isolate and hydrolysed protein and a digestion aid. I wish i come across this product sooner as it would have optimised my gains. It is not all about protein you do need the carbs more so when you have just finished training. If the carbs aren’t there your body will convert the protein that you have consumed and it the worst case scenario it can take it from the muscle.

The taking of a recovery fuel is another trick up the sleeve of the pro’s so my advice to you is jump on it if you are a serious athlete.
