Body fat measurements: (POST 40)

I have just had my fat measured again today. The first time I had it done was 8 weeks ago and I wanted to see what Fat I could lose point to point over an 8 week period. Much to my (and her) surprise I had lost 4% body fat while gaining 2kg. This happened because my overall size had gone up mainly my thighs and arms have got bigger.

This now gives me an indication that i am running on schedule. I have 6 more tests until next year’s contest so i will make sure that I lose 4% each time to get to my 5% body fat target to compete. If my loss slows down then I will adjust my diet or step my cardio to compensate and get me back on track.

I will take some photos when I get back into my training so you see how much I have altered training under Patrick Nicholls for just 8 weeks but I won’t make the same mistake of wearing his lucky pink posing trucks again. They may have given him luck while competing in the Mr Olympia contest but people will never let me live it down, “Mr Pink Pants”.

I had my second treatment with the chiropractor today and things are slowly improving, the third treatment is Friday along with a session of physiotherapy. I hope to get back in training next week in the meantime i will just do my cardio.
